He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Parker Bowers; his parents, Flossie Golden Bowers and Wesley Bowers; and his brother Tony Bowers. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Bowers (Stephan Schoenherr) of Augsburg and Cynthia Alligood (Todd) of Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Anna Huff, Georgia Schoenherr, Louis Schoenherr and Ashlyn Alligood; and his sisters, Linda Howell (Glen) and Faye Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
