It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Dale Chason of Pine Mountain, Georgia, who passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer C. Chason and Susie Mae Comerford Chason; and his wife Nettie Sue Starling Chason. He is survived by: his children, Linda Hayes Canterbury and Johnny Chason; his grandchildren, James Howard Gann (Allison), John Jacob Gann (Megan), Linston Hayes and Joey Hayes; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Rose, Brantlee Belle, Waylon and Brody Keith; and his siblings, Betty Rackley (Dale) and Mike Chason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
