It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Thomas Nolley (Pitts, Georgia), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles Thomas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charles Thomas' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Nolley and Dorothy Stultz Nolley; and his son Charles T. Nolley, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Davidson Nolley of Pitts; and his children, Joel Moore (Becky) of Pitts, Kim Webb (Chip) of Tucson, Sheila Thigpen (Denny) of Lyons and Lisa Selfe (John) of McDonough. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (74 Spruce Ln, Pitts, GA 31072).
