He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Rentz and Sarah Chappell Rentz; and his siblings, Jack Cain, George L. Cain, Randall Cain, Dwight Cain, Mickey Rentz, Phyllis Cain Williams and Maudry Cain Sanders.
He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Ann King; his children, Jason Rentz (Kim), Casey Rentz (Bobbie Lynn Rentz), Michael Rentz and Christy Craig (Darrell); his siblings, Terry Rentz, J. B. Rentz (Betty), Hilda Bruce (Larry), Jan Jung (Kenny) and Renee Rentz; his grandchildren, Darrell Lee Craig, Justin Fulmer, Joshua Rentz, Josiah Rentz, Joseph Rentz, Jonah Rentz, Joel Rentz, Callie Underland, William Herron II, Eve Lynn Kranenburg and Jacob Preston Rentz; and his great grandchildren, Rosealin Ruby Rentz, Raven Herron, Gwen Herron and Sophia Kate Fulmer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (91 S Cromartie St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539).
