He was predeceased by : his parents, Owen Vance Strickland and Thelma Turner Strickland. He is survived by : his wife Mildred Strickland; his sons, Clay Strickland and Ronnie Strickland (Stacy); his sister Gwendolyn Strickland Franklin; his granddaughter Stephine Leigh Howell; and his great grandchild Melaina Howell.
