He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Winston Grovenstein and Maureen Clark Grovenstein; his brother Cary Winston Grovenstein; and his nephew Carl Michael Grovenstein. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Webb Grovenstein; his daughter Amanda G. Bene (Stephen); his grandsons, Jonah Max Bene and James David Bene; his siblings, Sharon Warren (Jeff), Stephen Glen Grovenstein and Michael Lenn Grovenstein (Cynthia); and his sisters-in-law, Angela Grovenstein and Cathy Montgomery.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Pooler (1115 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery (215 Martin Rd, Midway, GA 31320).
