He was predeceased by: his brother Steven J. Trussell. He is survived by: his wife Gayle E. Trussell; his parents, Johnny Trussell and Sarah Trussell; his nieces, Bayleigh Rodriguez (Christian), Katelyn Womble (Caleb), Kaleigh Reyes (Daniel) and Lauren Novack (Adam); his nephew Chris Butler; his sister-in-law Frances E. Todd (Steve); and his pets, Pepper, Penelope and Harley Belle.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322).
