He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Goodwin and Mary Margaret Goodwin; his wife Patricia S. Goodwin; and his brother Charlie Goodwin. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda G. Barkley (Terry), Cary D. Goodwin (Shri), Karen Casey Cole and Steve Cole; his grandchildren, Matthew M. Williams (Nicole), Christina W. Hodge (Allen), Brendon Goodwin and Woody Barkley (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, William Allen Hodge, Jr., Trace Barkley, Carson Barkley and Makayla Williams.
