She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Ray Smiley, Sr.; her sons, Danny Knauss, Lamar Knauss and Roger Allen White; her parents, Effert Lamb Bowen and Melvina Mae Bowen; and her brothers, Aldon Bowen and Angelo Bowen.
She is survived by: her children, Lawanna White Land (Chuck) and Melissa "Missy" White Schneider (Tim); her sister Sylvia Bowen Drass; her grandchildren, Jade Carpenter (Josh), Käri Stewart (Anthony) and David Schneider (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Evvie, Ophelia, Davian, Kadance, Kasper, Dahlia and Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
