“Farewell shipmate. Fleming was my bunk mate in bootcamp and he helped me get through my separation anxiety and to get acclimated to a life of discipline. We were so close and I hate I lost contact with him. He was my brother. Unfortunately, social media was nowhere close to where it is now and since we had different rates our Navy career sent us in different directions (I went to Okinawa and Bahrain). I was actually doing a Google search when I came across this.”
