She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Pond Cason and Bertie Runyan Cason. She is survived by : her husband Jeral D. Pope, Sr. of Portal, GA; her children, Jeral "Dennis" Pope, Jr. (Joy) of Portal, GA and Linda Jones (George) of Remer, AL; her grandchildren, Kim Brown (Sebe), Amanda Pope, John Ray (Katie), Casey Ray (Jennifer), Charlie Ray (Brittany), Corey Jones (Brittany) and Christine Franklin (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Cason Ray, Bertie, Bricken Brown, Alice, Oli Jones, Anna, Brantley and Bailey Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, PO Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459, or to the Clay County Historical Society, PO Box 998, Ashland, AL 36251.
