She was predeceased by: her spouse I. W. Spence (Ivy William); and her parents, B. J. Hendrix (Buck) and Eunice Parker Hendrix. She is survived by: her children, Monica Lanier (Lannie), Jeff Spence (Pam) and Les Spence (Lori); her grandsons, Josh Lanier (Jamie), Tagg Lanier (Bailey), Will Spence (Meghan), Dylan Spence and Brantley Spence (Faith); her great grandchildren, Avie Grace Lanier, Mackenzie Lanier, Wren Lanier, Finley Lanier, Ivy Lanier, Fletcher Lanier, Cassedy Spence and Liam Spence; and her cousin Glenn Parker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Friendship Baptist Church (4025 Friendship Church Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Friendship Baptist Church or to Oak Grove Baptist Church.
