He was predeceased by: his parents, James Savage and Etta Savage; his wife Georgia Savage; and his siblings, Aubrey Savage, Howell Savage, Thelma Lundsford, Odessa Milner, James Troy Savage, William Roy Savage and Robby Joe Savage.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Savage (Rita) of Tennessee and Darlene Savage of Porterdale; his grandchildren, Jamie Tyner (Will) of Tennessee, Daniel Savage (Lauren) of Massachusetts, Scott Autry (Stephanie) and Marcus Autry; his great grandchildren, Walker Tyner, Lindsay Tyner, Titus Autry, Sheperd Autry, Gabby Autry, Sadie Autry and Nora Autry; and his sister-in-law Vena Barnett (George) of Covington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014).
