She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Zack and Gertrude Aultman Chestnut; her husband John Hobby Houston, Sr.; her son John "Johnny" Houston, Jr.; and her granddaughter Anna Leigh Houston.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Rogers (Doyle); her grandchildren, Buck Rogers, Cody Rogers (Jennifer), Beki Gibbs (Al) and Meri Beth Arbogast (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Colton Rogers, Levi Rogers, Emma Rogers, Elee Gibbs, Naomi Arbogast, Davy Arbogast and Eden Arbogast.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Poulan Cemetery (275 E Church St, Poulan, GA 31781). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the same location.
