She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Salmon and Doris G. Salmon Westinhoffer; her sister Gail Salmon Sullivan; her stepsons, Anthony "Turk" Betts and Gernot R. Betts, Jr.; and her nephew Jimmy O'Brian.
She is survived by: her husband Gernot R. Betts, Sr. (Pete); her children, Jennifer Gail Roberts, Ryan Saunders and Roy Clifford "R. C." Saunders; her stepchildren, Jonathon "Johnny" Sanders, Tara Cruz (Betts), Ginny Dark and Michael Betts; and her sister Nancy Salmon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The family invites friends to make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice if they desire.
