He is survived by: his wife Gayle Smith Dowdy; his daughters, Michele Waldrop and Christie Dowdy Keith (Lanny); his grandchildren, Eric Embrey, Tyler Embrey (Brittany), Austin Bresnock (Alli), Chandler Keith, Marisa Keith and Ethan Keith; his great grandchildren, Reese Embrey, Grayson Embrey, Mason Bresnock and Madelyn Bresnock; and his nephews, Dennis Jones (Celeste) and Gary Jones (Ginger).
