Homer Henson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Homer Henson of Powder Springs, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Though Homer may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Henson and Addie Stiles Henson; and his wife Gail Coffey Henson. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Ronda Henson) and Brent (Lisa Henson); and his siblings, Gene Henson of Mineral Bluff, GA and Irene Akins of Mineral Bluff, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
