She was predeceased by: her son Wesley Thurmond Howell; and her brother Louis Crumbley. She is survived by: her son Earl Stallings Howell, III (Cheryl); her husband Earl "Stallings" Howell, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Crumbley (Phyllis) and Fathie Eisentrout (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
