He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Mae Ward Palmer; and his daughter Sharon Sikorski. He is survived by: his wife Delores Evans Palmer; his children, Kimberly Pope and Leonard Earl Palmer, Jr. (Kristy); his grandchildren, Brooke, Lauran, Leah, Lendy, Rachel, Philip, Olivia and Lane; his great grandchildren, Ava, Lacey and Ivey; his sister Helen Holland (Marvin); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Walden (Donald), Dale Turnipseed (Bill) and Jim Evans (Teresa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mozley Memorial Gardens (3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122).
