“I was working at the preschool the year that Mike and his family came to Burnt Hickory. Didn’t attend church there, but was so impressed with the way he pastored his people. I remember him flying to be with the Parish family when Andy was hurt in a snowboard accident. Actually, he was the one who told me Andy had passed when I called to check on him. He put feet to his ministry and stood by his flock when they were hurting. Prayers for all that loved him. Sharon Rhodes”
