We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2025, at the age of 90, Peggy Joyce Lindsey of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ralph Shirley and Agnes Jewel Pittard Shirley; her husband Charles Boyd Lindsey; and her son Chuck Lindsey. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Sue Lindsey (Murl); her grandchildren, Duane Donaldson (Robyn), Darrell Donaldson (Sandy), Mary Donaldson McAfee, Elaina Lindsey, Hannah Hardy Samios (Alex) and Jill Hardy Geyer (Joshua); and her great grandchildren, Arlyn, Daisy, Avery, Emelia, Abram, Henry, Lydia, Xander, Cooper, Madison, Ellie and Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kennesaw Memorial Park (1306 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064). A burial was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
