He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Daniel, Sr. and Ella Mae Daniel; and his siblings, Wilbert E. Daniel, Barbara Ann Franklin, Robert Lee Daniel, Jr. and Vanessa Daniel Gibson.
He is survived by: his brothers, James Daniel and Lamar Daniel; his girlfriend Georgiana Smith; and his children, Glenn Stanton, Angela White, Kimberly Daniel McNeal and Kevin Ray Daniel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
During his tenure working within management at the United States Post Office, Ray received countless awards and commendations in recognition of the excellent work he performed, his attendance, and contributions to the United States Post Office.
