He was predeceased by: his brother Bill; and his parents, Orill McKechnie and Shirley McKechnie. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McKechnie; his children, Joe McKechnie (Catherine) of Marietta, GA and Jill McKechnie of Powder Springs; his brother Paul McKechnie (Judy) of Stallings, NC; and his grandchildren, David and Grace Ann McKechnie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
