He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Judith Chastain. He is survived by: his son Samuel Chastain (Tracy); his grandson Roman; his son Danny Lawson (Paula); his grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Whitney Thomas Chastain, Paula Chastain Zaimis (Harry), Niko and Sam; his siblings, Donna Chastain Herndon and Paul Y. Chastain; and his children, Whitney and Paula. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
