He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Spann Sr. and Beatrice Johnson Spann. He is survived by: his siblings, Jay Spann of Preston, Georgia and Donna Pelfrey (Casey) of Phenix City, Alabama; his siblings' children, Kelly Favors (Galin), Scott Cook and Liz Pelfrey; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Malana Johnston, Gabe Reed, Parker Favors, Gracie Favors and Declan Cook.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Service (612 Reese Park, Americus, GA 31709). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to American Cancer Society.
