She was predeceased by: her parents, Autley "Bill" Holmes and Addie Lee Seay Holmes; her daughters, Norma J. McClain, Kelly A. McClain and Sandra D. McClain Jones; and her siblings, Solomon Holmes, Nell M. Holmes, Cody Holmes and Autley Holmes, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia McClain of Quitman, GA, Trina McClain of Quitman, GA, Debbie McClain of Quitman, GA, Coretta McKinnon (Jerome) of Winder, GA, Charese McClain, Daphne McClain of Valdosta, GA, Tonya "Tasha" McClain of Jacksonville, FL, Freddrick "Fred" McClain and Kenneth "Kenny" McClain of Quitman, GA.; her brother Jack Holmes of Quitman, GA; her siblings-in-law, Christine Holmes of Valdosta, GA, Rudene Scott of Winter Haven, FL and Charles McClain of Lakeland, FL.; her grandchildren, Solomon "Preet" McClain (Candace), Thomas "Bubba" McClain, Sr. (Shaquilla), Marcus McClain of Tavoris, Johnson, LaNisha Head, Keyshunna McKinnon, Kayla McKinnon and Ameria Washington; her great grandchildren, Jartavion "JT" McClain of Thomas, McClain, Jr., Braylen, Kamden, Dylan Smith, Camaya Lyles and Michelle "Juicy" McClain; her sibling's children, Abigail Holmes, Cheryl "Shady" Holmes and James "Jamie" Holmes (Angela); her friend Dorothy Brooks Staten; and her cousin Easter Mae Miley. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the BTW Funeral Home (1108 E Screven St, Quitman, GA 31643). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Second Elizabeth Baptist Church.
