She is survived by: her husband Benny James of Valdosta; her sons, Bill Johnson (Kami) of Savannah and David Johnson (Leslie) of Athens; her grandchildren, Wilson Johnson, Claire Johnson, Isabella Johnson, Sophia Johnson, Tumelo Johnson and Yonah Johnson; and her siblings, Mark Renfroe of Birmingham, AL and Sybil Suggs of Maryland.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elam Baptist Church (5334 Grooverville Rd, Quitman, GA 31643).
