He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Magdaline Roberson McKenzie; his son Rodney Roberson; and his stepson Wayne York. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Roberson of Quitman, GA; his children, Ernie Owens (Cheryl) of Quitman, GA, Elaine Midgett of Quitman, GA, Janet Coker of Quitman, GA and Laura Ann Arnold of Quitman, GA; and his grandchildren, Ryan Cashwell, Courtney Ellis (Chad), Katelyn Cashwell, Ashten Denny (Joey), April Marshall, Dusty Marshall (Katelyn) and Jimmie Arnold. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
