With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Constance Vazquez of Quitman, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 96. Though Helen has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Palmer (Sarah Palmer) and Sarah Palmer; and her siblings, Dennis, Bertram and Avril.
She is survived by: her children, Beverley, Donat and Richard. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home (908 N Court St, Quitman, GA 31643). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
