He was predeceased by: his parents, Geary Gene Spires and Mamie Pauline "Hawkins" Spires; and his sister Renee Spires. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Beaty (Ryan Ferguson) of Valdosta, Kari Hagood (Billy) of Hahira and Dana Purvis (Justin) of Hahira; his grandchildren, Addison Beaty, Asher Beaty, Adaline Hagood, Olivia Hagood, Jacob Brown and Lacey Brown; his sisters, Tracy Rigdon (Ken) of Valdosta and Toni Hudson (David) of Valdosta; and his fiancée Andrea Corrao of Quitman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
