We bid farewell to Margaret Griffin (Quitman, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 31, 2025 at the age of 88. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Eula Mae Cooper Ellenberg and Bernice Ellenberg; her siblings, Jeanette Faucette, Betty Cooper, Billy and Ronald Ellenberg; her son-in-law Pate Duren; and her great grandchild Logan Nowell.
She is survived by: her husband James "Griff"; her children, Bruce Griffin (Jeannie), Tammy Jones (Jamie) and Tim Griffin (Trina); her grandchildren, Michelle Valdez (Jorge), Chad Griffin (April), Ashley Waller (Brent), Clay Griffin, Kyle Griffin, Jamie Griffin and Drew Duren (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Chasity, Ansley, Chandler, Stetsyn Griffin, Rebecca Valdez, Peyton, Harper Waller, Grady, Maggie Duren and Kylie Corbett. She is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews, a multitude of extended family members, and her brothers and sisters.
If you would like to make a monetary donation in Margaret's honor, the family has requested it be made to Pruitt Hospice of Valdosta, who served the family with Godly compassion and kindness.
