As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold Jay Lanning; and her husband Jorge Sardinas. She is survived by: her mother Nilda Donahue; her siblings, Harold Jay, Helena Joann and Robert Benjamin; and her stepsiblings, Jeffrey, Michael and Debbie Donahue. She is also survived by two sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law, two nieces, 8 nephews, 4 grand-nieces and 7 grand nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pay it forward in honor of Mary Kathryn Lanning-Sardinas, loud and with intention, as that is how she lived her life.
