She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Yates; and her siblings, William Sumner and Mattie Lou Croft. She is survived by: her children, Sue Yates Johnson (Eric) and Larry Yates; and her grandsons, Joel Furney (Kirstie) and David Yates (Deidra).
