He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Walker and Doris Walker. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Harden Walker; his children, Andy Walker (Bassha), Cathy Walker Peters (Bryan) and Carrie Walker Spence; his grandchildren, Clay Peters (Caroline), Emily Stewart Peters Ivester (Logan), Hatcher Peters, Holland Walker and Callan Walker; his great grandchild Ellison Ivester; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Burnett and Linda Williamson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (509 W Screven St, Quitman, GA 31643).
Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Home Quitman or First Baptist Church Quitman.
