He is survived by: his wife Brenda McAllister McBride; his children, Benjamin Spradley, Rhonne Goodson (Jim), Anthony McBride, Jamey McBride (Tara), Beth Lee (Reggie) and Lindsey Sapp (Jamie); his grandchildren, Chris Spradley, Brandon Spradley, Ryan Hines (Mariah), Riley McBride, Brennan Goodson (Brissel), Leah Goodson, Anthony "Ant" McBride, Ari McBride, Johnath Jamerson McBride II, Dylan Marshall (Lauralyn), Bradyn Marshall, Preston Lee, Dalton Sapp (Shelby), Jaylin Morse and Westin Spires; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Spradley, Carter Spradley, Gracelyn Marshall, Kali Goodson, Le'Onna Sanders, A. J. Morse, Waylon Sapp, Georgia Sapp and Rayford Sapp.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home (908 N Court St, Quitman, GA 31643). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church (3091 Troupeville Rd, Quitman, GA 31643).
