He was predeceased by : his parents, Will Pinyan and Rosa Pinyan; his brothers, Ralph Pinyan and J. L. Pinyan; and his son-in-law Robert Risley.

He is survived by : his wife Brentsie Pinyan of Ranger; his children, Gail Risley of Ranger and Anthony Pinyan of White; his granddaughter Hannah (Josh Coleman); his great grandchild Xander Coleman of Ranger; and his sister Christophine Stewart of Tennessee.
