We announce the death of Laura Jane McClure of Ranger, Georgia, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 75. Laura Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Patterson and Ettakay Bruce Patterson. She is survived by: her children, Adam McClure Ranger (Gina), Aime Iler Ellijay (Shane), Christy McClure Ranger (James) and Nathan McClure; her brother David Patterson Calhoun (Sissy); and her grandchildren, Josh McClure, Ashley McClure, Christopher McClure, Cassie Keener, Devin Keener, Jordon Keener, Dakota Iler (Justine), Kristen Iler, Leland McClure and James Odett.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
