He is survived by: his wife Denise Childers; his daughters, Amber Steele (Trey), Kellie Tidwell (Tim), Kala Cronan (Hunter), Kieanna Cummings (Brandon) and Holly Ellis (Josh); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chevy, Emory, Noah, Oaklynn and Nash; and his brothers, Ed Childers, Clint Childers (Vera), Ralph Childers (Mamie), Doug Childers (Sheila), Keith Childers (Eddie) and Mark Childers.
