She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Durante McConnell and Sarah Dumas McConnell. She is survived by: her husband Buddy Purvis of Ray City; her sons, Scott (Genia) of Tifton and Kevin Purvis of Ray City; her brothers, Buddy McConnell (Sherrie) of Fountain, FL and Rev. Tim McConnell (Debbie) of Waynesville, NC; and her grandchildren, Jake Purvis, Michaela Purvis and Brody Lott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lakeland Methodist Church.
