He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Talmadge O'Neal and Regina Pearl Nasworthy O'Neal; and his brothers, Reggie, Gerald and Joey O'Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce G. O'Neal; and his sister Patricia O'Neal Kennedy (Jan) of Reidsville. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
