He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gary Curl and Piney Collins Curl; his siblings, Johnny Curl, Curtis Curl and Imajean Mounfort; his grandson Lanier Holland; and his stepdaughter Marcella Sapp.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Beasley Curl; his children, Brian Curl (Heather), Tisha Holland (Bob) and Joey Curl (Angela); his stepdaughter Melissa Batton; his siblings, James Curl (Gail) and Betty Curl Brown (Ray); and his grandchildren, Brittney Blizzard (Dillon), Austin Curl (Baylee), Chelsea Jarriel (Will), Cassidy Holland, Cody Curl, Justin Curl (Hannah) and Hope Dunkin. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reidsville Baptist Church (146 W Brazell St, Reidsville, GA 30453). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
