She was predeceased by: her parents, Doy Padgett and Alma Martin Padgett; her husband Clyde Major; her sons, Lenoard Martin Butry, Jr. and Nicholas Kamage, Jr.; and her siblings, JoAnn Thompson, Edwin Padgett, Jaquelyn Oliver, Joyce Padgett and Jerry Padgett.
She is survived by: her children, Justin Butry of Lyons and Georgia Karma Butry of Statesboro, Georgia.; her brother Johnny Padgett (Melissa) of Milledgeville; and her sibling's children, Melody Shipes and Mike Thompson. She is also survived by Numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reidsville City Cemetery (204 Smith Ave, Reidsville, GA 30453).
