Though Johnnie Mae Bacon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Johnnie Mae Bacon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius H. Bacon and Mary Frances Sapp Bacon. She is survived by: her husband James Bennett; her daughters, Angela (Edward Hutto), April (Kevin Strickland Sr.) and Angel (Lee McKenzie); her sister Renee; and her brother-in-law Tim Barrow. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial (124 Jordan St, Reidsville, GA 30453). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
