He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Drinks Sr. and Ruby Lee Drinks of Reidsville; his wife Glenda Drinks; and his siblings, Jeffrey Drinks and Gwendolyn Gale Drinks.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Mincey of Augusta, Felicia Mincey, Ebonie Gwinn (Gary) of Snellville, Dedrick King of Covington and Derrick Wilson; and his siblings, Harvestine Castillo of Atlanta, Leal Brown (Willie) of Reidsville, Lawanda Drinks of Rex, Margie Smoot of Stockbridge, Steven Drinks (Brenda) of Reidsville and Kermit Drinks (Glenice) of Collins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Low Country Cremation & Burial (124 Jordan St, Reidsville, GA 30453). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial (124 Jordan St, Reidsville, GA 30453).
