He is survived by: his wife Cathy Rushing of Claxton; his son Aaron; his daughter-in-law Brandy Rushing of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Lacy Lyons (Jacob) of Washington State and Walt Rushing of Bellville. He is also survived by several other relatives; and countless friends.
