She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Stephens and Hattie Bell Dolen Stephens; her husband Coy Edward Benson Sr.; her siblings, Dester Stephens, Chester Stephens, Eugene Stephens, Ella Klancher, Mildred Caplinger, Dreamlee Whittemore, Billy Joe Stephens and Jimmy Stephens; and her granddaughter Jennifer Elaine Baird.
She is survived by : her children, Andy Benson (Lara), Eddie Benson, Bubba Benson (Beverly), Sam Benson (Kim), Claudia Baird (Jimmy) and Billie Lowe (Silas); and her brother Kenny Stephens. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren.
