He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Young and Betty Hancock Young; his wife Patsy Lucille Young; his daughter Linda Trammell; and his brother-in-law Cricket Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Young (Krystal), Randall Young, Raymond Young (Gail), Peggy Underhill (Joseph), Angela Farris (Michael) and Sarah Flemming (Stanley); his son-in-law J. T. Trammell; and his siblings, Ed Young (Faye), James Young (Melba) and Francis Watson. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
