With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Hood of Resaca, Georgia, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steve Hood to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Hood Sr. and Nellie Hood Ashley; and his daughter Brenda Gail Borg. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Mashburn Hood; his children, Stevie Hood (Nikki), Tony Hood (Charity), Brannon Fain (Nikki), Brook Fain (Laura), Blake Fain (Jennifer), Renee Hood Kitchens, Wanda Kennedy (David), Adrienne Hood, Jana Fain Rossen (Steven) and Kanessa Fain; and his sister Lola Taylor. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
