She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Slyvia Strickland-Vaughn; her children, Horace Vaughn (Betsy Ajon-Vaughn), Eric Vaughn and Al-Nisa Vaughn; her grandchildren, Dakita Vaughn, Quianna Vaughn, Eric Vaughn Jr., Julius Underwood, Brianna Hall and Everett Vaughn; her great grandchild Susana Vaughn Rodriguez; her daughter-in-law Betsy (Tobi); her friend Butchie; her cousin James "Jimmie" Brown; her father Nathan Vaughn, Sr.; her sister Sylvia Strickland-Woodsen; and her daughter-in-law Besty.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the New Testament Gospel Worldwide Ministries (6755 Fielder Rd, Rex, GA 30273).
