It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Roper of Reynolds, Georgia, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Roper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. L. Bobo and Vera Geneva Reynolds Bobo. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Franklin Roper; her children, Alicia Roper Korich and Joel Christopher Roper (Ginger Russom); her grandchildren, Haley Roper Ratliff (Matthew), Hayden Roper (Breanna Elmore), Holly Roper, Jordan Korich and Alexander Korich; her great grandchildren, Keefer Ratliff, Heston Ratliff and Wyatt Ratliff; and her siblings, Gary Bobo (Susan), David Bobo and Karen Bobo. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Funeral Home (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research: ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE RESEARCH 22512 Gateway Center Drive.
